Every tree in Edinburgh’s Meadows is fixed with a numbered plastic tag nailed to 
the surface tree. As the tree grows the tags and surrounding bark become distorted
and scarred. Sometimes the tags fall off leaving only the scar. A wall installation
of photographs of every tag on every tree lining Jawbone Walk.
